3/4 Tsp Cream of Tartar
1 Lb Powdered Sugar

Beat at Med-High speed for at least 10 minutes

Is this the icing for the gingerbread houses??? If so, can it be used for cookies too?

Fresh egg 'whites' are ok. The yolk is usually the problem. This recipe is just your normal meringue topping, but using powered sugar versus white cane sugar.

How do you make it without raw egg whites? I wouldn't want to take the chance of using raw eggs.
