Spooky Spider Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 1 Dozen eggs
  • Light Mayo
  • Paprika

Instructions: Boil eggs for 10-15 minutes. Mix mayo and eggs yolk until creamy. Pipe into egg halves. Cut pitted black olives in half lengthwise and nestles one half on top of an egg for the body, and then cuts the other half crosswise into thin slices to form the creepy legs.

Witch Fingers

Ingredients:

  • Pretzel Rods
  • Melted White Chocolate chips w/green food coloring
  • Candy Corn or Slivered Almonds for Fingernails

Instructions: Dip pretzels in melted chocolate, add green food coloring, stick on fingernail.

Freakish Frog with fly

Ingredients:

  • 2 thick apple slices
  • 1 slice of green pear or apple (tongue)
  • peanut or nut butter
  • sunflower seeds
  • raisins
  • dried fruit (eyes)

Instructions: Use peanut or nut butter to "glue" both apple slices together to shape a mouth. Poke sunflower seeds into frog’s mouth for teeth. Place a green pear or apple slice in mouth for the tongue. Use peanut or nut butter to "glue" dried fruit pieces to form bugged eyes.

Flies: Stick sunflower seeds, or pumpkin seeds, or almond slivers into raisins to form wings. Place fly on frog’s tongue.

Halloween Worm Sandwiches

Ingredients:

  • 8 hot dogs
  • 8 hot dog buns
  • 1/4 C. ketchup

Instructions:

1. Bring a pot of water to a boil.
2. Slice each hot dog into long, worm-like strips.
3. Dump hot dog strips into boiling water and cook until they begin to curl a bit.
4. Drain.
5. Return cooked hot dog worms to pan and toss with ketchup until thoroughly mixed.
6. Serve in hot dog buns.

Creepy Mummy Pizzas

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg. Oro Wheat Sandwich Thins (12 halves)
  • 3/4 C. prepared pizza sauce
  • 12 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 24 black olive slices
  • Green bell pepper, chopped into 1/4" pieces

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven's broiler
2. Split each English muffin and broil (tops only) until crisp and golden.
3. Remove muffins from oven. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
4. Cut your mozzarella cheese slices into muffin-sized mummy bandages.
5. Spread about a tablespoon of pizza sauce on each muffin half.
6. Top with cheese "bandages."
7. Place two black olive slices on each pizza for eyes. Give each eye a piece of green pepper for a pupil.
8. Bake about 10 minutes, until muffin is crisp and cheese is melted.

Cheese Ball

Ingredients:

  • ¼ Chopped Green Onions
  • 1 package Light Cream cheese
  • 1 cup 2% Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • ¼ cup light Mayo
  • 4 oz. Ham chopped

Instructions: Soften cream cheese (room temp), stir in mayo and mustard until well blended, add ham, cheese, and green onions.  Mold into desired shape (ghost or pumpkin)

Blood Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 jar favorite pasta sauce
  • 2 cups low sodium Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Reduced Fat or Skim Milk

Instructions: Mix items together and heat over med until warm or put in microwave safe dish, heat 2 ½ to 3 minutes.
