Pumpkin Pound Cake with Leftover Halloween Candy

3 cups flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2   teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice

3 eggs

1 ½ cups sugar

1 can (16 ounce) pure pumpkin

1 tablespoon orange zest

¾  cup butter, melted

¼  cup milk

½ cup candy bars or peanut butter cups, chopped (optional)

Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt & pumpkin pie spice. Whisk to combine.

In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs until fluffy, about 5 minutes. Add the sugar and beat for a minute. Add the pumpkin and melted butter. Then add the milk and rum. Add flour and stir to incorporate. Stir in the candy pieces. Pour into a buttered bundt pan. Bake in a 350-degree oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
