SAN ANTONIO - Randy Carroll and Jamie Martin, the long time hosts of the morning show on San Antonio's
KJ-97 radio, today were named Large Market Radio Personalities of the Year by the Country Music Association.
"This is a huge honor for them," KJ-9 Program Director Travis Moon said. "It is one that is so overdue and deserved for Randy Carroll and one that is an endorsement that Jamie Martin is a star."
Randy Carroll has been the morning show host on KJ-97 for most of the past 25 years.
"It is an incredible thing for KJ right here in our community," Moon said.
Randy and Jamie, with their hardware, will be on display at the annual CMA Awards in Nashville November 1.
