Overnight Camping curfew lifted for Easter holiday festivities

San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department officials announced that the curfew will be lifted at selected City parks for the upcoming Easter holiday. The park curfew will be lifted beginning at 11 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, and will resume at 11 p.m. on Easter Sunday, April 12.

Citizens will be able to camp overnight at…

  • Brackenridge Park, 3700 N. St. Mary’s. (excludes Brackenridge Parking Facility)
  • Concepcion, 600 E. Theo
  • Eisenhower, 19399 N.W. Military Highway
  • Espada, & San Antonio River, 1750 S.E. Military
  • J Street, 3500 J. Street
  • Martin Luther King, 3503 Martin Luther King Drive
  • Miller’s Pond, 6175 Pearsall Rd.
  • McAllister Park, 13102 Jones Maltsberger
  • Olmos, 600 Devine Rd. (allowed only in Divine Road picnic area)
  • O.P. Schnabel, 9606 Bandera Rd.
  • Pytel Park, 6220 S. New Braunfels
  • Roosevelt, 331 Roosevelt
  • San Pedro, 2200 N. Flores
  • Southside Lions, 3100 Hiawatha
  • Southside Lions East, 3900 Pecan Valley
  • Vidaurri, 1201 Merida
  • Woodlawn, 1103 Cincinnati (excludes the Island House and gym areas)

The exemption does not affect the youth curfew, which will remain in effect.
