Christmas is right around the corner. That means it’s time to dig through your garage for Christmas decorations. While you’re searching for your stockings, you may notice a heap of clutter taking up the spot that’s supposed to fit your car. Lindsay Lott, from The Container Store, was here giving us here tips to help clean up your garage. Start by sorting through everything. Use two bins to separate the “keeps” from the “donates”. Once you have the “keeps”, it’s time to start organizing. Lindsay tells us her two key words; accessibility and visibility. Use clear bins that are easily stackable in reachable places. Then, label all of your bins. Label a bin “quick fix” specifically for little jobs around the house that require duct tape or hammers.
