        Former fourth grade teacher Kara Laricks is now a new top designer after becoming the winner of NBC'S Fashion Star. She has really gone above and beyond! Macy's own, Caprice Willard, explained why she is thrilled to have Kara's new line in stores.

        "The pieces are very versatile, and the customer can wear them day and night," Willard said. Kara's clothes all have their own unique design aesthetic and customers will gravitate towards them. "It's a dream come true, being able to see my clothes hanging in those stores is just unreal," Kara said. Kara's clothing is available at Macy's for both men and women.

        "The clothes fit perfectly on our contemporary floor level," Willard said. Classic minimalistic colored clothing is an option, and Kara suggests that women check out her plaid A-line dress with menswear details.
