Kenny Loggins cuts footloose in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO - During almost four decades as a professional singer-songwriter, Kenny Loggins has established himself as many things to countless music lovers. After a string of successful singles and albums with Loggins & Messina (including "Your Mama Don't Dance" and "Danny's Song"), Kenny broke as a solo artist with such hits as "Whenever I Call You Friend," "This Is It" and "Celebrate Me Home.”

Throughout the years, he enjoyed hit after hit, many from popular soundtracks like Footloose, Caddyshack ("I'm Alright") and Top Gun ("Danger Zone"). He also co-wrote one of the great singles of all time, the Song of the Year Grammy-winning “What a Fool Believes,” which both he and the Doobie Brothers recorded. Kenny also became the first major rock star to dedicate himself to recording music for children. His album, Return To Pooh Corner, is still the best-selling children's album of the last 20 years.
