Holiday Recipes: Shelly's Scalloped Potatoes & Deviled Eggs

Ingredients:

-4 peeled russet potatoes, sliced about 1/4 inch.
-2 tablespoons butter, softened
-1 1/2 cups heavy cream
-1/2 cup milk
-2 tablespoons flour
-6 cloves garlic, chopped into tiny pieces
-1 teaspoon salt, pepper, a pinch season salt and garlic salt
-1/2 Gruyère cheese (shredded)
-1/2 jack or cheddar (shredded)

Pre heat oven to 400 degrees
Rub the butter around whole dish.
Grate Cheeses
Mix milk, heavy cream, garlic, seasonings and flour.
Layer potatoes and cheese…alteranating with potatoes and then cheese.
Pour liquid mix over the top.
Top with extra cheese.

Bake for 40 min with foil on top, take off foil for last 20 min. YUM!

Deviled Eggs

-12 hard boiled eggs, peeled, cut in half.  Scoop out the yokes
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 2 tsp mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- pinch of season salt
- paprika

-Combine yokes and seasonings with mayo and mustard in a bowl
-Mash with a fork until smooth
-Put egg mixture into a ziplock bag. 
-Squish mixture to corner to create piping bag, and cut corner to funnel.
-Pipe mixture into your egg halves
-Sprinkle with paprika
