SAN ANTONIO - We all know San Antonio as "Military Town USA" because of our Army bases and abundant military who reside here. Well, for those military who are in the process of integrating back to civilian life - with hopes of getting a job and gaining resources - there is a free Veterans Family Event this weekend to help you find what you need.
Abigail Moore, from the Veterans Family Event and Hector Villarreal, CEO of the SA Veterans Coalition, joined us today to tell us more about this event.
For the many veterans that come to San Antonio, job employment seems to be the struggle that they face the most. One of the main problems is the lack of resources. This free family event will provide free information from federal, state and local resources to all veterans, reservists, National Guard members, their families, significant others and caregivers. There will also be door prizes and entertainment for all!
