The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will be holding their 3rd annual small business symposium today until 5 p.m. It will take place at the Pearl Brewery, and all parking is free to the public! This free event will give advice and hold seminars for any small business owner.
This year in San Antonio, "there's going to be one billion dollars worth of contracting opportunities," said Jane Gonzalez from the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
New members are always welcome into the chamber and will be offered an array of services and programs. These will include business refferals, contacts, trainings, resources, and many different networking opportunites and advocacy. During their luncheon today, Yolanda Olivares, regional administrator of the small business administration for region VI, will be speaking! Don't miss out on this opportunity to walk away with significant values that will allow you to learn about accessing capital, how to use social media and websites for marketing, how to close a deal, and of course, how to give the 3 minute elevator speech!
The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce really wants to stress the importance of how much they want small business owners to come out and have some fun, meet new people, and start applying what they've learned in order to add growth to their business!
