SAN ANTONIO – The food trucks are on the move! The city released new locations Monday for a pilot program that allows the trucks Downtown during lunchtime.
The food trucks will operate 11am until 2pm, but where the trucks are parked depends on the day…
Monday, Main Plaza: Apizza Mia, Blazin’ Burgers, Cheesy Jane’s, Takoriya
Tuesday, Travis Park: Cheesy Jane’s, Smoke Shack BBQ
Wednesday, Weston Center (Soledad): Apizza Mia, Cheesy Jane’s, DUK Truck
Thursday, Main Plaza: Apizza Mia, Cheesy Jane’s, Lagniappe Today, Takoriya
Friday, Travis Park: Lagniappe Today
The new schedule also includes 5-8pm on Tuesday evening at Travis Park. This coincides with the Tuesday night free Downtown parking. Cheesy Jane’s, DUK Truck and Smoke Shack BBQ scheduled for that night.
The mobile trucks have been Downtown since a pilot program began in May, but the original locations weren’t drawing enough interest. That program lasts through October.
