Alanna Sarabia is the newest face to the San Antonio Living team as a reporter every weekday morning from 10am-11am. Brand new to the TV world, Alanna would not want to start anywhere else than with the family at News 4 WOAI.
Alanna graduated from Texas State Univeristy in 2011 with a degree in Electronic Media and Communications.While in school she was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha social sorority, and Student Foundation. Her love for TV started in college while reporting for The Bobcat Update and working on a student run local television show. She also interned at WOAI her last semester of school. During her internship, she landed her first job as the "Fiesta Insider" during Fiesta 2011.
Even though she is from Dallas, Texas, Alanna is no stranger to San Antonio. She served as Miss San Antonio 2009, promoting her platform on educating the city on the importance of being responsible pet owners. She currently holds the title of La Reina de La Feria de las Flores 2012 for Fiesta San Antonio and raised $25,000 to give to the Parent/Child Scholarship.
During her free time, she works with Spurs Sports and Entertainment as a 2011-2012 NBA Spurs Silver Dancer, enjoys working out, playing piano, and spending time with her poodle named Hector.
