Moving to Ft. Hood was a "rude awakening for me," explained Sara. She did not know what to expect as a military wife. After her husband got deployed she went through every emotion and eventually found the skills needed to cope with him being gone.
The book is written in a day-to-day form so it truly gives the reader a sense of understanding how everyday life is while your spouse is deployed. Sara said it was important to just make it through the day and keep herself busy.
"This book is good for anyone who wants to know what its like to be left behind," said Sara.
Her husband is back now and they have started a family together. She encourages people to read her book and hopefully find encouragement from it.
