By Bethany Ellison, Wedding Experience BrideI would like to start out by saying how extremely thrilled I am that the Vera Wang wedding gown won! It was my favorite of the three dresses, so I was hoping that it would get the most votes. It’s exactly what I have always imagined I would wear on my wedding day.
Everything is really starting to come together. Blake and I are meeting with our wedding planner, Diana Boucher, next week. We are looking forward to meeting with her and hearing all of her ideas about our wedding.
On Friday, I am going to Julian Gold to meet with Amber and to have my first dress fitting! I can’t wait!
Besides the excitement of the wedding, Blake and I are just trying to stay focused on school and get everything done before May. It seems like we have a lot to do, but we trust that everything will come together just perfectly. We are currently looking for an apartment, so that after the honeymoon we will have a place to come home to.
Blake has a really great job for the summer - of course it has to do with swimming – so he is really excited about that. I am also looking for a job, and since I am originally from California, I am figuring out what is the perfect fit for me in San Antonio.
Blake’ s swimming season just ended this past weekend. He placed third at the NCAA Division II 200 breaststroke competition. He is happy that all of his hard work has paid off.
We are just taking it day by day, trying to get things done. Be sure to watch SA Living on Friday at 10am. We are going to be on air with Shelly for some yummy cake tastings!
