Blake and I found out on last Friday’s San Antonio Living Show that Diana Boucher from “I Do!” Wedding Consulting. We are thrilled with the theme that the viewers picked; Diana did a great job making it look very sophisticated and romantic by using warm colors. We look forward to meeting with our new planner and exploring the other creative ideas she has in store for our big day. We also got a look at the bridal gowns (presented by Julian Gold).
Meanwhile, I was on a plane headed back to California to be with my family to share this exciting experience with them. Luckily, in between flights I was able to jump on my laptop and watch the segment online at
saliving.com. I could not believe the options presented; the dresses are all absolutely gorgeous and I am so lucky to be wearing one of them down the aisle when I marry Blake. I of course immediately sent out texts and e-mails, telling people to start voting!
I am in California for the remainder of the week, spending time with friends and family and just relaxing before heading back to school. Our really close family friends put on a last minute bridal shower/get-together for me which was a lot of fun and laughs. Everyone is so excited for Blake and me; they are already making arrangements to come out to San Antonio in May and make a vacation out of the wedding. It’s been nice being around my family this week, but I am excited to come back home to San Antonio.
I am flying into Houston on Thursday to watch Blake swim in Nationals. Wish him luck! It will be nice to have him done with the season so we can have some more free time to get everything together before we get married.
I still can’t believe that we are getting married and that we have been blessed with this amazing gift! Thank you to all of you who voted for us and keep on watching as our big day gets closer.
