THE INSIDE STORY: Justice of the Peace refuses to issue warrants

When you get a speeding ticket you pay the fine or face a warrant for your arrest. That is, unless your case was assigned to Bexar County Precinct 3's Justice of the Peace court in the last year.

That's not surprising for Judge Baker, I had requested a severance of defendants on a case, and he refused to grant because he said it would just be more work for "his" clerks... He needs to realize "his" clerks and "his" job is for "our" benefit. Not his... Sounds like this is just another one of his tantrum's when he doesn't get his way. He needs to go and we need to find a new Justice of the Peace.

I'll vote for him. I've been to jail for an upaid ticket. And I got put in a cell with a murder suspect, got punched in the stomach by a guard, food poising from a sandwich, deloused, cavity searched, took my shoe laces, and lost my job. Why?, because I didn't have proof of insurance. I had insurance, but didn't have the card on me to show the cop. I was told the clerk didn't clear the ticket even though the judge dismissed it.

How can the loss of one employee cause a drop of 11000 plus warrants being issued. This entire story makes no sense. Was this person the only person who did the warrents, licked the envs., and put on the stamps? Very weird story to be sure. Oh well , back to another goofier story next.

GOOD! For those squares that DON'T know,a warrant on any Ticket Is a waste of time/resources!No officer wants to do tons of paperwork for a TICKET! I Wouldn't Pay! Hold me in a cell a few hours, but they don't want that, they want Cash! Hell No,not from me!So it's Only a Never ending circle till u pay,They sure don't want u in jail for a TICKET !
