The below link is extensive research that proves the Bexar County Family Court System is corrupt and is only harming our children and our economy. Judge Rausch and judge Catoe will be charged with obstruction of justice. These fees are not unreasonable. If you cannot afford to have children do not have them. I do not want to pay for your bad decisions as well as poor planning. Please note that if you are on food stamps, WIC and or medicaid for any other reason other than loss of employment or catastrophic injury or illness, you probably could not afford the child or children in the first place and should have kept your legs crossed and or your zipper up. The system is indeed overwhelmed, but a majority of this is the catalyst of poor decisions of the overall population. If you can't afford a pet, and can't care for one either you have no business raising a child ON MY TAX DOLLARS. If you think the AG office is bad wait till the government takes over healthcare as they are planning.

The state should get off its religious high horse and just pony up more money for abortions. Half of these kids are the product of unprotected sex with some tattooed felon after a so-so night at Graham Central Station. Cheaper to shank the fetus than waste all this money trying to get money from these so-called fathers that let the state take responsibilty for feeding and providing healthcare for their Medicaid-sucking crotchfruit.

So is it just the custodial parent paying these fees?

The state needs to fine these dead beat losser fathers and demand them to pay child support. Not us the inocent tax payer!! I am tired of my hard earn dollars supporting these dead fathers and their "illegitamate children" please zip it up or fix the problem so you wont reproduce!!!

OVER $13 MILLION,And counting...And I'm sure they(AG) gonna ask about that payment shortfall when they harass an NCP! Um,remember,You(ag) Stole it ! My court Order says obligated to support child(ren),NOT to Support TxCSDU !!! That's Not my offspring! abbott, you suuport it,Perry,YOU support it.And it goes both ways, ladies, you wanna go get drunk and take home some scrub from a bar, what do u expect ?!!! Bottom Line,it's calked Theft,a crime of Moral Terpitude !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! While the AG is stealing MY money as well as every other NCP's,pay for those that you(ag) incarcerate for child support instead of passing the bill onto Taxpayers ! It's about $150 a Day to house a person in Bexar Jail...Sleep on That.Meanwhile, teachers are being fired and schools are being closed ! Go Figure...

As a citizen of the United States of America and resident of this great state of Texas, living in the beautiful and diverse city of San Antonio,I would like to comment that the Child Support Division that provides help to Texas Familes no longer functions with the best interest and hearts of the people, this is a particular system of goverment long past due of reform. As a parent having been involved in this system and being witness to the bureaucracy, knowing both sides; I cant help feel heart broken reading all of the comments here. I dont want to comment taking sides with a residing custodial parent or non residing parent because my heart goes out to both,I also do not want to comment or complain about the state fee imposed or take note of the billions collected in Child Support;what is truly important is the obvious, and that is a system that is in desperate need of reform, how can this system in place for families take a "one size fits all" approach, when families are and can be so diverse? For our situation, are children are now adults and in the end after all the court fees, arguments over child support amounts, and high debt arrears, all of which both my ex and myself just have to ignore at this point,I cant help but to feel that this system of child support in place served nothing more then what to me felt like an interference on what could have truly been. All we have really wanted as parents was to ensure that despite the change in the dynamics of our family, that the children were secure in knowing a loving parent or parents would always be there. Thank You New 4 for real reporting on this very serious issue and news.
