“I think that Sonic Drive In off of Blanco and Hildebrand should be inspected. If not by you, by someone else. That location is very dirty, roaches EVERYWHERE! I don’t feel this location should even be open with how disgusting it is.”

Although we do report on restaurants that have scored a high number of demerits during their health inspection, we are not certified to just go out and inspect a restaurant ourselves. We wait for a poor score to come out of the Health Department before we go to see what’s going on.
Our suggestion is report the restaurant to the San Antonio Metro Health Department. It’s really easy, and they usually follow up within days. You can call 207-0135 or 207-8853 weekdays from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to file a complaint or email samhd@sanantonio.gov.
