I'd like to know more. Why was the staff position cut? I fail to see a case for either misfeasance or malfeasance on the part of Judge Baker. What's he supposed to do, type the warrants himself?

Hmmmm, let's think about this. DA SWSusie is supposed to investigate Dead Wood Baker. What is wrong with this picture? Three words immediatly come to mind, POT, KETTLE, BLACK, and not necessarily in that order!

Michelle Hennigar That is ridiculous... I have dealt with Judge Keith Baker when I was in real estate.... as a contractor... as a citizen ticketed... he has always been fair.... so if the District Attorney is creating problems for losing money.... Maybe he is doing his job by being fair to people... if that doesn't generate enough money for you maybe your the problem...Some Judges have pride and integrity ... he clearly doesn't have a price tag.... maybe judges should follow that ... serving the people with justice and not the ticketed price tag...........

I wonder if Susan "The DA" can get this investigation done. Or, is it like the investigation of Judson ISD 2006 bond issue. It has been 3 years and she hasn't done her investigation???????? Judge Baker will have retired or passed away before "The DA" can get anything done.

Reed should be investigated and sacked !..........District Attorney Reed, “Obama For America” campaign co-chairman/Mayor Julian Castro, San Antonio TX City Attorney Michael Bernard (brother of White House Social Secretary Jeremy Bernard), SAPD Chief William McManus, IT Director Hugh Miller, Council members and others have been reported to the FBI, DOJ, HUD, etc. for their part in covering up the theft/misuse of Telecommunications, E911, HUD, WIC, Homeland Security, Dept. of Education, Health, etc. funds from grant/city budgets for the past 25 years. Internal audits show that 25% of emergency calls failed to complete BUT there was no money to fix the malfunctioning 911 system. Lives are at risk but they continue to hide the fraud/theft of OUR money.................. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9VL1nPBeak

If he's elected by the people, why can't he be impeached by the people for not doing his job?

I believe that he is just being a big baby suffring from sour grapes symdrom after losing a staff position. My question would be how many names would be needed on a petition to impeach Judge Baker. The county cannot afford to lose 750,000.00 due to someone having a preschooler moment. To whom is Mr. Baker accountable? Does he answer to someone in the county or does he answer to a state agency or commission? If he is not doing his job someone needs to grow a pair and pull the trigger and get rid of him. If the allegations are substantiated give him an ultimatum and if he fails to comply, FIRE HIM. Susan Reed needs to investigate the deputy who caused the death of his two canine partners, before the sheriff allows him to retire if the wants to do something productive. Someone also needs to do some investigative reporting on Susan Reed.

Baker is obviously acting in bad faith and has in effect abdicated his position.
