Disciplinary action taken against Alamodome employees released

Immediately after the investigation aired, Mireya Villarreal asked for more details on the punishment through an open records request. City attorneys tried to withhold the information, claiming it was too embarrassing to be released to the general public. But today, letters notifying Marc Solis and Jim Mery of their punishment were released to Villarreal.

Tell again why City Mgr. Scully gets the big bucks. Oh yeah, because Mayor Castro said she deserves it! What a farce SA politics is. They think they own the city.

Fire his ass. It's obvious that he is irresponsible and self serving. You don't need people like working for you. (The taxpayer).

Mireya Villarreal, Brian Collister, their boss Tom Bell and many others at WOAI have enough proof of an ongoing criminal conspiracy to put Sculley, Castro, McManus, IT Director Miller, City Attorney Bernard, etc. in cuffs. They throw these tidbits out to appease the public but help hide the REAL story. On August 31 yet another law-abiding citizen was issued a criminal trespass warning and illegally banned from public meetings in violation of the Texas Open Meeting Act for filing Open Records requests and investigating the public/police corruption. ……..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9VL1nPBeak …..………http://www.sanantoniolightning.com/enemy10.html

@Wormster, its actually the city managers fault. Her office is in charge of the Dome. To me they should have all been demoted to city landfill maintenance.

Ms Villarreal is to be commended! She has done a great service to the citizens of San Antonio. One can only hope that Sculley, her right hand lackey DiGiovanni, and Julio have embarrassed themselves and their integrity enough that they will straighten up and fly right in the future. That's probably too much to hope for though as integrity seems to be in very short supply in COSA government.

They should have both been terminated immediately, and prohibited from being employed by the City of San Antonio again. And Fidel Castro wants to run for Governor? This city government has the worst ethic's problem I've ever seen in the 55 years I have lived here.
