If people don't have pride to maintain the homes where they live or rent, they should live in the streets. This is disgusting. Same thing is happening around parts of Camelot...check out the apartments on midcrown and the gas station across the street...people hanging around, doing nothing, leaving trash around the area and no cops...

Please continue following up on the Camelot 2 story. Hoping for attention to the problem. We need law enforcement and for Bexar county to not sweep this under the rug.

Rick perry vetoed a mandate that would give urban county governments more muscle to deal with landlords that refuse to care for these propertys,so don't blame Obama. We live here and Pay For garbage service Invite people to check out our part of the neighborhood with yard upkeep and home improvements taking place.Andy Winters at the County offices is working to help with clean up options in parts that are the most seriously affected. There are a lot of us retired or working familys who are buying our homes,Janice has been trying to get us help with enforcement for years and the legislation needed was pushed aside.

@Phrilly, I totally disagree with you. Get to the foundation of all of this and you'll find that the factors will include all the government handouts in numerous shapes and means, the sense of entitlement that is a direct result of government involvement in our lives, and more. The problem didn't begin with Obama, and it won't end with him. And, to be fair, it's not just the President in office that is responsible. It's Congress, too, and when the Democratic fools are in charge it only becomes worse. They promote these entitlement programs and attitudes of the lazy and useless that pump out tax write-offs and additional familial welfare beneficiaries as fast as they can. Okay, I must shut up now. You just got my anger train rolling and I can feel my blood pressure rising. I work my a$$ off to support these losers. If I didn't have to, I might could afford to go out to a really nice dinner a few times a year, sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. Instead, I work to support myself & family, as well as the freeloaders.

1pumpchump - This isn't a political problem so don't make it one.

Even the cops don't like to go into that neigborhood after dark. Now that's scary!

Camel Toe, AKA, Spandex City, is a slum. How can this happen in Obama & "The Boy Wonder's" perfect world? I guess Hopey, Changey = keeping the match lit.
