Benjamin Schmidt enlisted in the Marines and gave his life for his country. He didn't just make a difference for his country in battle, but also left his mark in this country to help students achieve a greater education.
So on this New Years Eve, while everyone is getting ready to celebrate with family and friends, let's take time out to honor Benjamin Schmidt.
