By Jeff Garcia, Project Spurs.comThe San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat are the cream of the crop in the NBA this season and if things go accordingly, these two teams will be battling for the NBA crown.
Obviously, one has to favor the Heat to win it again since they are the defending champs but the Spurs could be the last team standing come June. So it is safe to say the Spurs might be the team to challenge the Heat for the crown.
Appearing on ESPN's "First Take," former Spurs guard Steve Kerr stated he likes San Antonio to give Miami their biggest challenge and right on queue, Stephen A. Smith laughed at Kerr picking the Spurs to challenge the Heat and cackled at Tiago Splitter being an x-factor in a Spurs-Heat series.
