By Jeff Garcia, Project Spurs.comWhile the San Antonio Spurs were battling the Nuggets last night, earlier in the day, guard Cory Joseph was having quite the game for the Toros versus the Legends.
Joseph, who was re-assigned to Austin, led the Toros with 30 points in a 110-97 win over the Legends which became a D-League high in scoring this season. Cory's final line was 30 points, 2 assists, 5 rebounds, 8-17 from the field in 37 minutes of play.
Hopefully this will only boost Joseph's confidence once he makes it back to the Spurs roster and especially if he is called upon to be on the court for San Antonio.
