Nando De Colo's agent has responded to this report of him going to the Austin Toros onBasketUSA.com:
"It is only a game, explained his agent."
As we reported last month,
Nando De Colo made it clear, he isn't thinking about playing in the D-League now that he has made it to the NBA. Well it seems he may have to change his mind fast because the San Antonio Spurs have announced they sent him to their D-League affiliate Austin Toros.
The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have assigned guard Nando De Colo to the Austin Toros of the NBA Development League.
De Colo has appeared in 13 games this season for San Antonio, averaging 2.5 points, 1.4 assists and 1.2 rebounds in 10.4 minutes.
His best outing was against Miami where he scored 15 points, handed out 5 assists, and grabbed 6 rebounds in 33 minutes of play. Clearly he can produce for the Spurs if given the minutes on the court.
