The Spurs have won 4 NBA Titles. I think RC and POP know what they are doing. Richard Jefferson played all 82 games last year and averaged 20 points on a mediocre team. He can play D and he is smart enough to learn Pop's defensive rotations and schemes. Offensively they need him to hit the open 3 pointer and the 12-15 footer. He also runs the floor very well. He and Tony on a fastbreak will be something to watch.

Duncan has a "No-Trade" provision in his contract - he expects to retire as a SPUR. Parker looks good because he hogs the ball, and won't utilize the talents of the other players. Ginobli is fragile and remains injured, if enthusiastic. He well may be past his prime as well. I wish Bruce all the luck in the world, he has really been good for San Antonio. Perhaps the Coach and GM should be traded first.

Good Luck Bruce and God Bless. You will be greatly missed by the fans of San Antonio. You are a underrated superstar and will always have a special place in the hearts of SPURS fans!!!! I can't imagine the HEB commercials without you!

nice deal we'll have to eat the salary which will hurt us cap wise toward any further wheeling and dealing. we all know the spurs are notoriously tight with their cash. this has the added benefit of opening up two slots. Let's see who fills them ..
