SAN ANTONIO - Guard Kawhi Leonard will play tonight as the Spurs take on the at the New Orleans Hornets at the AT&T Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30pm.
Leonard has missed the last 18 games because of tendonitis in his left knee.
At practice Friday morning Leonard told News 4 WOAI, “I'm good to go and ready to get back out on the court.”
It is still unclear if Leonard will start or come of the bench, and how many minutes he will play.
The Spurs sent Leonard to the Austin Toros of the NBA Development League for one day for a medical rehab assignment.
Prior to the injury, Leonard appeared in nine games, averaging 10.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.00 steals in 28.9 minutes.
