Spurs Coyote Mascot Challenge finalists announced

SAN ANTONIO -- Get ready to cheer your favorite local high school mascot on to victory. The Spurs have announced the finalist who will compete in the Spurs Coyote Mascot Challenge.

  • Chief - Harlandale High School
  • Calvan the Cougar - Canyon High School
  • Rocketman - Judson Senior High School-Red Campus
  • Buster - Judson Early College Academy
  • Charlie - Samuel V. Champion High School
  • Hank the Hawk - Canyon Lake High School
  • Bobby the Bobcat - South San High School
  • Red Raider - William Howard Taft High School
  • Willy/Wally Warrior - Warren High School
They'll all take center stage and show off their best moves, including dancing, physical activity and school spirit.

The winner will receive:
  • $1000 from HEB and Silver & Black Give Back
  • Coyote Camp: opportunity to shadow the Spurs Coyote at a game
  • Coyote visit to their high school
BE THERE: The Spurs Coyote Mascot Challenge will immediately follow the San Antonio Spurs Open Scrimmage on December 19th at 7:00 p.m. on center court.  Both the open scrimmage and Mascot Challenge are FREE to attend. CLICK HERE to find out more.
