Scott Brooks doesn't think top seed is important either

The San Antonio Spurs are currently 1 1/2 games ahead of the Oklahoma City Thunder for first place in the Western Conference, thanks in part to Monday's night big win at home.

Spurs players and head coach Gregg Popovich have said finishing first in the West doesn't matter as much as being healthy and playing your best basketball heading in to the playoffs.

It seems Thunder head coach Scott Brooks agrees with that mindset. Brooks said after Monday's game that locking up the number one seed isn't important to the Thunder, citing last year's playoff run as evidence.
