He has bounced from team-to-team overseas including Switzerland's Lugano Tigers, Canaria in Spain, and Polish team Asseco Gdynia to name a few. From personal reasons to simply Richards and the team parting ways, it seems Richards could really use some stability in his pro-career.
After parting ways with Polish squad Asseco Gdynia, Richards is now playing for BC Vienna of the Austrian League and in just two games, he has made an immediate impact averaging 27.5ppg and 10.5rpg. Richards also had a double-double (22 points and 11 rebounds) in a recent win over Oberwart for Vienna.
And it is this play which has earned Richards Eurobasket.com's Player of the Week honors.
