Report: Suns' Brown to appeal flagrant foul on Ginobili

During the Phoenix Suns visit to the AT&T Center against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, Shannon Brown was ejected for a nasty flagrant foul on San Antonio Spurs' Manu Ginobili during the final seconds of the third quarter. Now it seems that Brown is still pleading his innocence to the league and he's going to appeal the call that the foul was a flagrant 2, per Arizona Central.com's Paul Coro via Twitter.

Shannon Brown said he'll appeal the flagrant foul 2 call from Saturday's game at SA. He said he tried a swipe block as he frequently does. (@paulcoro)

This may anger some Spurs fans as the hit seemed to be blatant from different views on the court. As you can see the video below above.

Brown intended to slap Ginobili’s head, not the ball. That’s very obvious, no doubt about it!
