SAN ANTONIO – Spurs guard Manu Ginobili announced today that he will be out for the next 10-14 days.
Just finished with the MRI. Grade 1 strained left hamstring. 10/14 days out. Will be back shortly,”
Ginobili wrote on his Twitter account.
The injury occurred in the second quarter of Sunday night's game vs. Minnesota.
"We need him. He plays a big role for us. He’s a spark for us. He can come in and knock down some shots for us,” said Tim Duncan.
In a move most probably related to Manu's injury, the Spurs recalled Cory Joseph from the Austin Toros. This is an expected move from the Spurs, who have sent players to Austin and recalled them depending on the roster situations.
We caught up with Tim Duncan and Danny Green to talk about moving forward without Manu. Watch.
