SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- A 22-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stealing an autographed Michael Jordan jersey from the home of San Antonio Spurs' guard Tony Parker.
The Bexar County sheriff's office said Parker's manager reported the jersey missing last month. It had been taken from a gym addition under construction at Parker's home.
Detectives found a listing for the jersey on Craigslist and identified the seller. It was posted by Christopher James Carolan. After talking with him, investigators were able to find the jersey's buyer, who they say returned it after being contacted.
The item was reportedly worth almost $20,000 according to the sheriff's office.
The 22-year-old San Antonio man worked for the security company hired to protect the residence. He was arrested on another outstanding burglary charge.
