By Jose Grijalva, Project Spurs.comThe Los Angeles Lakers have been struggling this season, even when they're at full strength. They couldn't seem to have chemistry on both ends of the floor and close out games during crunch time when it matters. Now it seems that the situation can really get worse for Laker fans. Their two starting big men are out indefinitely:
Howard, who originally injured his right shoulder Friday night against the Clippers and re-aggravated his shoulder last night, was examined today by team doctor Steve Lombardo. An MRI exam revealed that he has a torn labrum and will be out indefinitely; he will travel with the team this week to Houston and San Antonio and will receive treatment from the team’s training staff. He will be re-examined in a week. (Lakers.com)
This is a huge blow to an already struggling team. While Gasol's injury is huge, it'll be Dwight Howard that will be missed most of all.
