Great move. Fact is Bowen has lost a step or two, but chances are Milwaukee will release him and he can re-sign here, if they the spurs offer him that. Finley is the next to go I believe.

Should have gotten rid of Ginobili instead of Bowen

Three down and one to go. If Timmy doesn't step it up this coming season then it should be his last here. He has it in him to become awesome yet again if he would condition himself. Do not allow Ginooooobili to play in whatever tournament, which he will again hurt himself, make sure Parker stays out of the Hollywood scene and hope Duncan can step it up. If all those things happen with the addition of Jefferson then I don't see why there can't be another River Parade this time next year.

Good to see we are getting some younglings on the team. Although it is sad to see Bruce go I do hope he is able to return somehow even later in the season. But I get a kick out of how you all justify the trade by saying, "San Antonio gave up Bruce Bowen, Kurt Thomas and Fabricio Oberto in the deal, getting rid of three aging bench players with expiring contracts." I just think in reality the Spurs needed to get rid of a medical liability along with two guys who could step up but needed their contract money to get a player that was decent and could add points on the boards when needed and in great health.
