By Kyle Boenitz, Project Spurs.comEven though he didn’t win, San Antonio Spurs' Matt Bonner impressed/surprised us all on All-Star Saturday night with his performance in the three-point shootout. He made it to the finals before falling just short against Kyrie Irving.
"The Red Rocket," now the "Red Mamba," proved to everyone that he deserved to be there and probably earned himself an invitation to next year’s three-point shootout. That is if he wants to re-launch the #LetBonnerShoot campaign in 2014.
Win or lose, Bonner gained a lot of support from fans and of course, he had his teammates behind him as well.
Danny Green posted a picture to his instagram wearing the now famous “Red Mamba” t-shirt.
