Although like Don said he is no Bruce, I have to say if Finley feels that he can continue on the squad and add to the line up then good for him. Yes, age is always a factor with this team but with age comes experience and also injuries. I know everyone around the league loves to rip the Spurs for being too old or just too stuffy, but what they don't get is that Pop is the one building the foundation and this or that player is part of a bigger puzzle. For Fans yes, we want a team that wins them all but sometimes pieces of a puzzle either break or go missing. I am glad that the Spurs organization is taking risks with the players they have and are bringing in, let's just hope that with these risks there is a pay out in the end for all involved. It may take another year or two for everyone to get adjusted but eventually there will be another opportunity for the Spurs to make that Championship Run regardless who we have on the squad.

Finley still has some shots left in him, but I hope we get a big man. NOT Sheed either.
