SAN ANTONIO -- A San Antonio-based brewery is offering free beer in an effort to bring peace between San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili and area bats.
The Freetail Brewing Company says every time the Spurs win a game, and no Mexican free-tail Bats are caught by Manu Ginobili, everyone at the brewery will receive a FREE beer. The brewery will also donate $1 on the patron's behalf to Bat Conservation International.
Ginobili slapped down a bat that got loose inside the AT&T Center Halloween night and twice delayed the Spurs' game against the Sacramento Kings. The bat's condition wasn't immediately known, prompting some people to complain about Ginobili's actions.
