By Jeff Garcia, Project Spurs.comThe San Antonio Spurs have re-assigned rookie guard Nando De Colo to their D-League affiliate Austin Toros.
This marks De Colo’s second assignment to the Toros this season. In one game for Austin on Dec. 2, the guard posted 14 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in 39 minutes in a 97-82 win over the Idaho Stampede.
De Colo has appeared in 30 games this season for the Spurs, averaging 3.9 points, 1.7 assists and 1.7 rebounds in 11.9 minutes.
De Colo has had an up-and-down stretch of games. He scored 11 points on the Nets but saw games where he scored 4 points versus the Hornets, 2 points versus the Mavs, and 3 points versus the Nuggets.
