By Kyle Boenitz, Project Spurs.comWell, that was quick.
The San Antonio Spurs announced yesterday that they had reassigned Nando De Colo to the D-League Austin Toros, but it was a short-lived trip.
De Colo and the Toros
beat the Idaho Stampede 97-82 last night in Austin. De Colo played 38 minutes and had 14 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.
Today, De Colo is being recalled
back to the Spurs.
After a very impressive showing in what’s now infamously known as the “Restgate game” against the Miami Heat where he had 15 points, six rebounds and five assists in 34 minutes, De Colo looked like he could be a big contributor to the Spurs going forward.
