San Antonio Spurs guard Cory Joseph will soon begin his fourth stint with the Austin Toros, The team announced today that the 6-3 sophomore guard has been assigned to the Spurs' D-League affiliate.
As I wrote recently, it would likely be between Joseph or Nando De Colo on who the Spurs would send to Austin, especially with five players capable of playing point guard on the roster.
Joseph has only played one game for the Spurs this season. Last season Joseph led the Toros to the D-League Finals before he was called back to help the Spurs in the playoffs. He averaged 13.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists with the Toros last season.
