SAN ANTONIO - Now that the San Antonio Spurs are in the Western Conference finals, there's fandomonium all over the city. One local rapper has even written an anthem for the championship team.
"Killa Streetz" with 15Five Entertainment works with other rappers to write a new Spurs song every year. This season's "
Ballin' 4 Da Ring" has already received more than 500 hits on YouTube, but could soon be making it to local airwaves, including 98.5 The Beat.
DJ "Xavier" says during Spurs playoffs, they receive hundreds of songs from rappers about the Spurs.
"There's a lot of them," Xavier told us. "Just in the past couple of weeks, I've received at least 100. So, uh, it's been crazy."
