It was the biggest game of their lives for the Wagner Thunderbirds Friday as they faced Garland Lakeview Centennial in the state semis.
After falling behind, Jordan Clarkson tried to get Wagner back into the game. He finished with 22 points, but Centennial held on to win, 87-78. The teams second straight year of coming up short in the semi-finals.
