San Antonio--San Antonio Christian defensive back Trent Jones signed a letter of intent today to play for Evangel University. Evangel is in Springfield Missouri and is the NAIA. Jones, who played along side Notre Dame signee Corey Robinson led the Lions in interceptions last season. Jones is the son of Mark and Teresa Jones and the brother of former cornerstone basketball standout Chelsea Jones who was an All-American at Southwest Assemblies of God University.
