SAN ANTONIO - Steele running back Justin Stockton has committed to Texas Tech. He will be teaming up with his former high school coach Mike Jinks who is now the running backs coach at Texas Tech.

Kingsbury is way over his head as a HC in Divison I at this point in his career. He should have stayed at A&M for a few more years. I don't expect TT to do any better with KK than they have in the past several years. I hope he proves me wrong.

I think Kingsbury and company have a lot of other coaches in the Big XII, and beyond, nervous. What high school kid WOULDN'T want to play for a group of young talented and energetic coaches. Jinks is a great hire for TECH too. In addition to Kingsbury, it'll help with the recruiting in the Austin/SA area. Looking forward to seeing this kid in Red and Black and running circles around an SEC team in a BCS bowl.

Too bad to waste that kind of talent on a mediocre team in the mediocre Big12 conference. This kid should be playing in the SEC. He'll be looking to transfer come next year.
