I am a Clark graduate of the class of 1989. Mr. Martin knew my family(or at least my dad and brother) well, thanks to my brother who was in the office often (lets just say he liked to visit Mr Martin LOL). My brother (Danny Velasquez), myself, all my old friends from Clark will be praying for Mr Martin. He has touched so many lives and I am sure will have many prayers and thoughts with him in his trying time.

I would like to say Thank you for the story. I am a OConnor football parent. You are right in thinking that we look for the best in our boys and it is not the ending score that matters. Because even though you might play football in highschool but its the respect and character you take with you in life after highschool. Mr. Martin is an amazing man and we are all praying for him and love him for the things he has showed our kids and the lessons he has pasted on to them. OC Mom #20, & #63.

So, could someone please say what the tradition is?

um...ok? is it that hard to summarize the point of the story?

Well why can't they bother to write the story for those of us that can't get the video? I'm not even sure who has cancer or what kind it is, but I guess the kids lined up and did a dance or saluted or something, who can tell? I guess it's the principal that has it, but at first I was figuring it was the coach or something. Oh well, it's WOAI, determined to do it in their depends or duties or something.
