SAN ANTONIO -- 13-year-old Christian Lewis was born with a profound hearing loss.  But that hasn't stopped Lewis from becoming a force on the football field for Alamo Heights Junior School.

At age 4, Christian enrolled in Sunshine Cottage, a local school for hearing impaired children.  With the help of a cochlear implant, Christian discovered an entire new world, and eventually found a talent on the football field.

Watch his amazing journey from a silent world to neighborhood hero.

I was looking forward to watching the video, but you didn't caption the entire video. :( How ironic that you have story about a deaf kid playing football, hearing with the aid of CIs, and you can't be bothered to caption the entire video?
