It's officially known as Week 1 of the High School Football season, and we got things going with a Kiolbassa Tailgate Party at Texas Military Institute.

TMI is one of the oldest schools in South Texas. It's been open for 117 years. Did ya know General Douglas MacArthur was a TMI grad. That's right. He graduated with the class of 1897! Plus, TMI grads earned over $6 million in college scholarships last year. WOW!

The TMI Panthers are 0 and 1, so far, this season after their loss to Victoria St. Joe's last week. TMI takes on Holy Cross this week. Both teams looking for win #1 this year.
