SAN ANTONIO - A recently reunited San Antonio family has a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

Eddie Moreno enjoyed the holiday at home with his family in his newly rebuilt home.  He came home Monday after he spent nearly eight months in the hospital.  He was paralyzed from the neck down after a March road rage shooting.

Thursday he was watching football with the family in his spacious living room.  The Moreno family has always hosted Thanksgiving in his home, which was renovated to accommodate his wheelchair and special needs.

"It's awesome," he said. "It feels good to be with my family."

His family says they're thankful for the outpouring of support from hundreds of volunteers and donors in the community.  They're especially grateful for the donation of a new handicap accessible van, from the Mays, King and Maloy families.
